Who's the Boss?

Have you ever noticed how dogs bark at passerby's, especially people with things on their head in India? And that too, for no rhyme or reason. Surprisingly, most dogs are scared of other dogs (when it comes to stepping into their territory), but wait till they see a passing cow mindlessly walking by, and the barking starts! I don't know what goes into them, or what they have against slowly moving cows, but it ticks off something in their brain and makes them go berserk! Maybe there's a short circuit that happens in their brain when they see a mooing cow pass by!

I thought of creating this doodle when Misty, our tiny office dog (Pomeranian by breed) was sizing up a huge, slow moving, spotted black cow, which was almost the size of our gate. It's ironic how such a huge monster could get scared of something so miniature and petite!

It seems like these cow pass by every day in the afternoon, as I always hear Misty bark at that time. Maybe they have a fixed time for a stroll. Everytime you hear Misty bark, you know its a passer-by cow (since she is too scared to bark at anything else!)

It is amusing to see cows act like a COWards when they face dogs! :P :P :P Now that's a pun with a top score!

The grand view!

One of the times when we were Googling: "buy apartments in Bangalore" for the millionth time, we stumbled upon a property we found interesting. When we looked up the website and checked the floor plan, this is what set us on a laughter riot!

Two toilets and a balcony in between! Wonder which view you get from the balcony and/ or from the toilet :p :p :p

A creative 'No Parking Sign'!

I spotted this sign painted on the pavement on a street in Bangalore and nearly tripped when I read it.
Got me totally cracked up! Lol...!

I thought of the plight of this person who probably lives/ works/ owns a place here when I saw the area that he had demarcated was just in front of a staircase and his only resort was to start calling these car parkers 'IDIOTS' in an attempt to stop them from parking there.

I was just amusing myself with the thought of how he would go up the steps if the car blocked the staircase- he would probably have to go over the car!

English bloopers

An excerpt from a conversation at work on an afternoon:

Spelling struggler 1:         What is the spelling of neighbour? Neighbour or neighbor?
Spelling struggler 2:         Neighbour is British English and neighbor is American.
Spelling struggler 3:         This happened to me yesterday. I was trying to type 'beaurocratic' no
beurocratic, no boreaucratic, no? Ok, red tape!

Spelling struggler 1:           Let's get to the online dictionary and spell beauro- whatever...
Spelling struggler 2:           Impossible! It says bureaucratic.
Struggler 3:                        If its boo- reou - cratic, why is it pronounced as beau- ro- cra-tic?

Spelling struggler 1:           This happens to me with 'believe'. For a long time I spelt it as 'beleive'.
Spelling struggler 2:            I can never write 'encyclopedia'.
Spelling struggler 1:            I always spell sandwich as sandwitch.
Spelling struggler 3:            I spell sandwich as sandwicth, if that makes you feel better.

Spelling struggler 2:            This happens with one more word! I forgot...something to do with the army!
Spelling struggler 4:            Leftinant (lieutenant)!

Spelling struggler 1, 2, 3:    Now how the hell do we spell that?
