Every year, Sid and I head for a new adventure on our anniversary. Last year it was a trek to the Himalayas. This year, it was the sea. We decided to go snorkelling in Langkawi this time!

We all know how important music is on long drives. Well, we took some time to put together some of our favourite songs for the family road trip to Kerala, and lo! The car we hired didn't have a USB port! What a flop!

Bangalore Rains

One crazy night when me and my girls were packing our bags for a day trek around Bangalore for the next morning, suddenly the sky thundered and the clouds showered us with so much rain, that we had cars floating in our streets. It was a scary night. It almost sounded like the clouds were having some angry conversations between themselves. We were furiously calling up each other to find out the status of each other's street and were discussing water levels. At midnight, we left it up to the morning to decide if we could go for our trek. And we did!

Beautiful Bangalore in winter

Bangalore is most beautiful in winter. With bougainvilleas in full bloom, you will find multi-coloured carpets of flowers on the streets. This green city is in full bloom at this time of the year and it actually looks like a Garden City! This picture is taken on my street in Koramangala on one such morning.

Mama- mami were travelling by train and were arriving at K.R.Puram station at 4.00 am. Our alarms didn't ring and we were fast asleep while they were waiting at the station, until we finally jumped out of bed, hopped into the car and drove in the cold, wintery night, err... morning!
